Our Mission

One God as three, divine, equal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is ever-present, all-knowing, and all-powerful.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself for us and the forgiveness of our sins. He rose again on the third day to conquer sin and death. Salvation is found through faith in Christ.

God created man and woman in His image, without stain or corruption, as His ultimate creation. However, humankind fell into sin, tainting their purity, and corrupting man's lineage. Due to the Fall, humanity is dead and hopeless without Christ. Sin separates us from God. Since we live in a fallen world, we are subject to suffering, criticism, temptation, and hardship; these are not God's doing, but a result of the Fall and sin. 

In love, Christ gave Himself for us to be forgiven. Through the death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ, we are given the opportunity for salvation through Him. On the cross, Jesus wiped the slate of sin clean, forgiving us beyond our comprehension and understanding. Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and our salvation is in no way due to our own righteousness. Without Christ, our salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are impossible. 

Though fallen, sinful, and broken, we are made new in Christ alone. In this redemption, we are called to act like Christ and be holy. However, since we are sinful, we are entirely unable to be perfect. Due to our sin and the brokenness of our world, we naturally gravitate towards sin and folly. Pursuing God, being redeemed through Christ, and growing in our faith require active, meaningful progress.

Scripture is divinely inspired, written by humans under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is God's Word to us, infallible and authoritative. It is all useful for teaching, understanding, guidance, and wisdom. It is the ultimate source of our beliefs and doctrine. 

Note: All translations are interpretations of the Word. We use the English Standard Version (ESV) for most of our correspondence, but invite everyone to use the translation most comfortable, familiar, and understandable to them.

While modern society often tries to use science to disprove Scripture or God's existence; we believe science actually bolsters Scripture and proves God's omniscience. 

Modern psychology supports much of what the Bible says regarding anxiety, transformation of self, daily struggles, and more. While we believe God reveals Himself both in Scripture and in science, Scripture is ultimately authoritative, and we must not let secular science worldviews distort this.
